Is a method of brain stimulation which has been used since the 1950s, and was FDA approved for Depression, Anxiety, Pain & Insomnia in the Early 1970s.*

There is also a device called Alpha-Stim, we have not used the Alpha-Stim unit, but have been told by reliable sources that effectiveness has not been seen with it. No clear advantages have been demonstrated with the expensive devices. I have seen beneficial effects from the two above devices and another physician that I know said that about 70% of patients get significant benefit (50-100% reduction of symptoms).
